Can anyone think of any other strategies that can be applied to a retail enviroment for market basket anaylsis?
|||Usually I would use simple product categories as inputs rather than always using individual products. E.g. using Laptops and Ink Jet Printers rather than individual model numbers. As you learn more, you can drill down into details - e.g. which laptops indicate which printers, etc. - you can see my answer to your other question on this forum for more ideas
